His early days were spent touring nationally with his band Wendy Darling, whose success opened doors in the world of film and television. His first feature film score accompanied the critically acclaimed, Sundance and Berlin winning 'The Diary Of A Teenage Girl.’ He followed with two Academy nominated films - 'Can You Ever Forgive Me' and 'A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood,’ the latter earning him a Grammy nomination and a BMI Award.
